Skilling Uganda-a paradigm shift

Skilling Uganda is an ambitious reform program that aims at overhauling the current system for skills development in the country.The Federation of Uganda Employers (FUE) has been very instrumental in engaging relevant players in the Skills Development Agenda.

In December 2011 the Cabinet approved the new 10 year Strategic Plan 2012/13-2021/22 for Business Technical Vocational Education and Training (BTVET) under the name “Skilling Uganda”, as submitted by the Ministry of Education and Sports (MoES).
