As we move through 2026, we congratulate H.E. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and the newly elected Government on the commencement of their new term of office. We also proudly celebrate the recognition of Ms. Mona Ssebuliba, FUE Vice-Chairperson, and Mr. Simon Harvey, a Governing Council Member, who were awarded the Diamond Jubilee Medal in recognition of their outstanding contribution to Uganda's socio-economic development.

In addition, we welcome the enactment of the Employment (Amendment) Act, 2025, which marks a significant milestone in strengthening labour relations.

FUE remains committed to guiding employers on the implementation of the Act and promoting decent work, productive employment, and sustainable economic growth.
