The Employer of the Year Awards (EYA) is the Federation of Uganda Employers' flagship recognition programme that celebrates employers demonstrating excellence in workplace practices, decent work, and responsible business conduct. Through the awards, FUE actively incentivizes Ugandan businesses to adopt fair labour practices, promote employee well-being, uphold occupational safety and health standards, embrace diversity and inclusion, and foster socio-economic cohesion. rnThe initiative also recognizes employers that create inclusive workplaces by providing equitable employment opportunities for vulnerable groups, including refugees, women, youth, and persons with disabilities, thereby contributing to sustainable livelihoods, social integration, and Uganda's inclusive economic development.
